The welding staff at Ohio Heating are highly trained and skilled in a  variety of different welding methods including MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel.welding_pic

MIG Welding: MIG stands for “Metal Inert Gas” and is an arc welding process in which a continuous solid wire electrode is fed through a welding gun and into the weld pool, joining the two base materials together. A shielding gas is also sent through the welding gun and protects the weld pool from contamination. MIG welding enables the welder to make most types of fabrication and maintenance/repair welds on material from 24-gage up to 1/2-in thick.

TIG Welding: TIG stands for “Tungsten Inert Gas” and is done by using a tungsten electrode to heat the metal you are welding and gas (most commonly Argon) to protect the weld puddle from airborne contaminants. TIG welding can be used on more metals and alloys than any other welding process that creates high quality, clean welds with no sparks, slag, or fumes.

The knowledge and training of the welding staff at Ohio Heating, combined with a complete custom metal fabrication shop gives them the resources and expertise to solve any problems and meet any requirements that come with a HVAC job. Custom HVAC ductwork and custom roof curbs are our specialty.
